I have a pair of concerns about replacing the drive belt. When the belt failed it took out the hydro fan and also busted a spring on the idler wheel bracket. The spring is pc 15 on the drive system pictorial. I have the right to watch wbelow one end of the spring anchors on the bracket but I do not know wbelow the various other end of the spring attaches. Does it attach to the PTO? I have actually the diagram for routing the drive belt however I"m not sure how the belt routs underneath the steering support bracket. Does the belt go to one side of the steering wheel shaft or does the steering wheel shaft have to be disconnected to allow the belt to be routed around it?JMO yet I think the idiots that designed this must be made to adjust the belt whenever one breaks.

As far as the belt routing, I am pretty certain that one routes to the left side of the steering shaft. try it that means initially and also you have to be able to tell. Several of the older devices you execute need to remove the steering column. Put the belt on the drive pulley-block initially, then the hydro sheave then the remainder. As far as the spring, I assume you discovered wright here it goes on the arm...??? The other finish you could just need to look for a wear spot on the framework or other...I agree with you opinion of train chauffeurs though...I spent an hour simply altering out a starter solenoid (most likely the the majority of widespread electrical component to fail in this industry) because it was hidden beneath the sub frame of the steering column.....
